About This Game

Knaights is a turn-based strategy game set in a medieval fantasy environment, with linear base vs base combat. You start with a castle and 3 knights to build a strong kingdom that vanquishes your opponent's stronghold. Each turn, select actions for all your assets (structures, units/troops, and a perk for your team) that execute together once you submit your selections. Progress through your upgrades and build quickly to gain the advantage on your opponent!

Depending on your strategy, time commitment, and difficulty level, matches can last anywhere between 30 minutes and a week! Unlock customizations and gain achievements as you battle opponents and seize victories! Completely playable with just a mouse, keyboard and controller functionality are also supported. There should be some laid-back feel as there is no time-pressure regarding your turns (unless you're playing competitively).

Each structure and unit has a special purpose. Knights (the main fellow/lady in the game) are used for questing, attacking, and guarding. They can be upgraded (no spoilers here) and are your first usable unit. Sending knights on quests risks their death out in the world. If they are successful, however, they bring back spoils of their trials, earning them a name on the field. Use their spoils to build your army, unlocking new units and abilities.

Sending an overwhelming army will eventually whittle down your opponent and reaching the castle allows your troops to damage their base. Once the castle health is depleted, you'll reign victorious.
