About This Game

A dead man. A borrowed name. A paper trail someone tried to erase.

Bratislava, 1993.

Young reporter Marek Varga wakes to a damaged message on his answering machine. By the time he learns who left it, the caller is dead—and Marek’s newsroom has already reduced his life to a routine story about a company director and a pile of suspicious papers.

Jozo Balaz was a director on paper. His name was useful. His signature was useful. But he was never the man in control.

To discover why Balaz called him, Marek must follow the details everyone else ignored: a note left with a neighbour, five possible doors, an old reporter’s hidden file, reluctant witnesses, and favours nobody wants written down.



Then Czech reporter Eva Svobodova uncovers a matching trail across the border.
