What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We’ve chosen to launch Orbit Engineer in Early Access because the game is still in the early stages of development. We want to involve our community from the very beginning, giving players the opportunity to share feedback, influence development, and help shape the future of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We don’t currently have a set timeframe for how long Orbit Engineer will remain in Early Access. During this period, we plan to release frequent smaller updates with fixes, improvements, and new content, alongside larger major updates that will significantly expand the game.

Development will continue to be shaped by player feedback, and we’ll keep the community updated as the game grows and evolves.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We expect the full version of Orbit Engineer to be significantly different from the Early Access version. As development continues, we plan to add many more building parts, missions, expansions, gameplay features, and much more!

Early Access is just the beginning, and we’re excited to expand the game alongside our community as we work towards the full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At this stage, Early Access is primarily focused on sandbox building. Our goal is to get Orbit Engineer into players’ hands and gather valuable feedback on the building system, controls, and overall experience.

Throughout this stage, we’ll be releasing smaller updates with bug fixes, improvements, and refinements based on your feedback. We’ll also begin introducing missions and other gameplay content through updates as development progresses.

This is only the beginning for Orbit Engineer, and the game will continue to grow considerably throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The base price of Orbit Engineer will remain the same throughout Early Access and into the full release. We currently have no plans to increase the standard price as the game grows.

From time to time, Orbit Engineer may be included in sales or promotional discounts, but the standard full price will remain unchanged.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be a huge part of Orbit Engineer’s development. We encourage players to join our Discord, share their experiences, leave feedback and reviews, and tell us what they’d like to see in future updates.

We want to hear what you enjoy, what you think could be improved, and what features or content you’d love to see added next. Your feedback will help us decide where to focus our development and how Orbit Engineer grows throughout Early Access.

Orbit Engineer is a game we genuinely want to build alongside our community. We have our own vision for where the game is heading, but we want our players to have a real voice in shaping that journey with us.”
