About This Game

LOOT THE DAY. HOLD THE NIGHT.

You survived the end of the world. That was the easy part. LootHold throws you and up to three friends into a world the machines won, and when night falls they come hunting for whoever's left. Loot the day. Hold the night.

STRIP THE RUINS

Out past the gate, everything belongs to the machines. Walkers patrol the streets, Hunters hold the high ground, drones sweep the gaps between. Move quiet and you strip wrecks and dead robots for parts, ammo and gear. Move loud and tonight gets harder. Nothing counts until it's through the gate.

GUNS OR DEFENCES

Get it home and it's yours. Craft better guns and gear at the bench, or build walls, traps, turrets and mines to defend the bunker. Same loot, two jobs. Spend it all on the rifle, and the wall you couldn't afford is the gap they find tonight.

HOLD THE NIGHT

As night falls the robots come out in force to try and finish you off. Waves start small, probing your defences, as the night progresses, stronger foes will push you to the limit. Patch your defences between waves and make sure you're ready when the big rigs arrive, hold till the light and you’ve survived the night.

THE BUNKER IS THE CORE

If the walls go, the robots push on to the bunker. If the bunker goes, the sector goes with it, and you start again somewhere new with every blueprint you've unlocked. Hold long enough and the fight turns. Find the AI's data centre, bring it down by day, and the sector is clear. People can come back. You move on to the next one.

HOW MANY NIGHTS CAN YOU HOLD?

FEATURES

  • Co-op for 1 to 4. Drop in solo or bring a squad. One bunker, one night, four pairs of hands on the walls.

  • Day and Night Cycle. Days are for looting, nights are for holding. A watch on your wrist tells you how long you've got. Push your luck or get home early.

  • Open-World Sectors. Every sector is its own biome and layout with its own patrols and loot.

  • Loot and Crafting. Strip wrecks, outposts and dead robots for parts, ammo and gear, then turn them into new guns and upgrades at the bench.

  • Base Building. Walls, traps, turrets and mines, placed by hand wherever you're standing. Build in the calm or mid-fight.

  • Guns or Defences. One pool of loot feeds both the bench and the build menu.

  • Escalating Waves. Walkers, Hunters, drones and the big rigs. Waves probe, then push, then besiege.

  • The Bunker. The core of every sector. Walls buy time, turrets buy more, and if the robots reach the bunker the sector is lost.

  • The Data Centre. Every sector has one. Find it, fight through to it and destroy it by day to clear the sector for good.

  • Meta Progression. Blueprints and starting loadouts carry across sectors. Lose a sector and you keep everything you unlocked.
