A cozy puzzle game about road signs. A lively little town keeps getting stuck, and you can’t build roads, only place signs. Roadwork, the school bell, rush hour: change signs on the fly. After a crash or jam, see who cut off or held up whom, and which Russian traffic rule applies.

About This Game

Cars keep crashing at an intersection. One truck backs up the whole avenue. A bus can’t pull out of the depot. The streets of this little Siberian town were laid out long ago, and the drivers have places to be. All you have is road signs, and you decide where each one goes.

One sign gets the town moving

Find where the town gets stuck, put up a sign on a post, and run the same day again—same cars, same pedestrians, same mistakes. That way you can see exactly what that one sign changed. The longer traffic flows without jams or crashes, the more stars you earn.

Change signs on the fly

Partway through the day, a street closes for repairs. The school bell rings, and a crowd of kids streams across the crosswalk. A long line of cars pulls out of the factory. The sign that was helping a minute ago is now in the way: move it or take it down entirely, whether the town keeps running or you’ve hit pause.

Find out why traffic stopped

A card names who caused the crash or started the jam, and the rule behind it. Hover over the rule for a short summary, usually with its sign number or traffic code section. Click a car and it glows gold, while whoever it’s waiting for glows blue.

Different road users, different rules

Put up a “Straight or right” sign with an “Applies to trucks” plate: trucks take the long way around the block, while cars turn left just as they planned. It’s all by the book: a city bus on its route doesn’t have to obey “Right only,” but everyone must yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk. Russia is the game’s first country, but you don’t need to know its traffic rules going in.

Play at your own pace

Pause anytime, slow time down or speed it up, and if you missed something, rewind and watch it again. The inspector is there to help you get started. Cars stuck in a jam honk, and you can tell by ear which side it’s coming from. You can play at night, too: the streetlights, windows, and headlights all light up.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Signarchy was developed with the help of an AI coding assistant (Anthropic's Claude). It was used to write program code and to draft in-game text such as level descriptions, tutorial lines and translations. All of it was directed, reviewed, tested and edited by the developer.

The game itself contains no generative AI. Nothing is generated while you play: the traffic simulation is deterministic and runs entirely on your computer, without any connection to AI services. The 3D models are built procedurally from our own scripts, and road sign artwork follows official national standards.
