“The full version of Ruler of the Roost is planned to include significantly more content and polish than the Early Access release. This includes additional levels, more game modes, expanded powerups and weapons, more playable chicken characters, gameplay balancing, improved multiplayer features, and overall refinements based on community feedback throughout development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version includes 1 playable level and 4 game modes, along with online multiplayer, a variety of weapons and powerups, and the core chaotic chicken combat experience. While the foundation of the game is fully playable, additional content and features are planned throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price of Ruler of the Roost will increase as more content and features are added throughout Early Access. We currently plan for the full release version to cost around $15 USD.”

We plan to use player suggestions, bug reports, balance feedback, and general community input to help shape future updates and prioritize new content. Welcome to the world's most serious chicken warfare simulator.

In Ruler of the Roost, heavily armed chickens wage war across sprawling farms in a chaotic multiplayer party shooter packed with ridiculous weapons, absurd power-ups, and deadly vehicles.

Battle your friends in frantic free-for-alls, team up in objective-based modes, race weaponized chicken karts, defend the Roost from relentless invasions, or simply try to survive the madness. Whether you're pecking opponents into oblivion, launching explosive eggs across the map, or fleeing from a missile-launching police cruiser, no two matches play the same.

Because on this farm...

There are no Geneva Conventions.
