Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I currently expect Backrooms Complex to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months but this may change depending on player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand upon the current game with additional levels, enemies, items, encounters, environmental events, and gameplay systems. In addition stuff like achievements will be implemented.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and includes the core gameplay loop, multiplayer, procedural level generation, exploration, enemies, tasks and main progression. Players can complete runs, earn rewards, purchase equipment, and progress toward the game’s main objective.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I am not currently planning to change the price when the game leaves Early Access. Price will remain same for all stages of development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will help with balancing and difficulty progression as well as provide feedback about level design and how it can be improved. Players will be able to report bugs and share suggestions through the Steam Community and Discord.”
