About This Game

JOHN GLEEP is a tiny alien with a big problem. His casino is a failure and he owes the mob a galaxy. Solution? Fly from planet to planet and forcibly abduct gamblers to boost business, pay off your debt, and fix your failed marriage in this unexplainable intergalactic action-roguelike mashup.

How’s one alien supposed to steal resources and citizens from unsuspecting planets while managing a failing casino full of involuntary gamblers? At the same time, obviously. Zip across the planet to abduct everyone while avoiding high-alert attacks from Captain Missile. Fill your bouncy gambling empire with every abductee and watch them tumble around while you deal with distractions. Also you’re gonna be defusing bombs. And squashing bugs. And ignoring virtual meetings. And probably a bunch of other stuff at the same time.

Every planet ransacked is another day closer to your debt being collected on by the nefarious dentist/mob boss Joey Norp. Maximize profits by upgrading and customizing your casino with pegs from the gacha machine. Use the Junk and Gadgets you find on each planet to bolster your ship or activate distracting new abilities. Don’t forget to fuel up that Hyperdrive, though - escaping to a new star system means more planets to raid, and more time to pay off the mob.

Failure to pay means game over for John Gleep. Or does it? A new run means new casino combos, new planets to discover, and another chance at clearing your debt. If you work hard enough, you might even encounter helpful companions you can earn a variety of permanent upgrades from. You could also listen to their problems and help them out with their personal lives, but whatever, you’ve got a galaxy to pay off.

Want a break from the hustle and bustle of managing your casino and abducting unsuspecting gamblers? Explore the star system and cut loose! Go to club, bet on some Binko Races, maybe play a chill round of Human Poker. Or, check in on your ex-wife Lucille and your precious Lil Gleepy. They really need you to step up and chip in some more, you know.
