Why Early Access?

“SEO or Die is a narrative RPG built by one developer in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Early Access allows me to release the first two eras of the game
(2011–2017) while continuing to develop Era 2 and Era 3 with
community feedback. Your input will directly shape the story,
balance, and content of the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 3–4 months. Full release is planned for late 2026,
when all four eras (2011–2026) are complete.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access includes Era 0 (University, 2011–2015) and Era 1
(Freelance, 2015–2017). The full release will add Era 2 (Agency,
2017–2022) and Era 3 (The Storm, 2022–2026), completing all five
character paths, seven endings, and the full echo system where
decisions from 2011 reach their conclusion in 2026.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Era 0 and Era 1 are playable from start to finish. The core
mechanics — event system, character stats, project management,
save system — are fully functional. The game is stable and
contains approximately 3–5 hours of content depending on
chosen path.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price when Era 2 and Era 3 are released
as part of the full version. Early Access players get the best
price and access to all future content at no extra cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to collect feedback through Steam Discussions and
regular developer updates. Players can influence which events
and story branches are prioritized, report bugs, and suggest
improvements to game balance. Every update will be accompanied
by a developer log explaining what changed and why.”

SEO or Die is a narrative RPG about fifteen years that turn a student into an adult. Through choices that seemed small at the time. Through people who stayed. Through everything that happened between 2011 and 2026.

You build websites, write articles, buy backlinks, and try to understand how the internet really works from the inside. Your first site. Your first AdSense money. Your first client who never pays. Years later — your first projects, your first team, and the first real decisions about how and why you keep doing this.

Choices do not disappear.

Didn’t sign a contract in 2016? Deal with a lawsuit in 2023. Called a friend during a blackout? He remembers. A choice you make at nineteen still lives inside you at thirty-three.

Four eras. Fifteen years.

  • 2011–2015 · Dorm life, your first $10, your first mistake

  • 2015–2017 · Freelance work, instant noodles at 2 AM, first clients

  • 2017–2022 · Office life, a team, responsibility you never asked for
