About This Game

A storm sinks your ship and a week later you wake up in Hearth Harbor. The beacon on the tower went out years ago, and the harbour went quiet with it. Your grandmother Meri kept that fire burning for a long time. Now it's your turn.

The demo

The demo is the first chapter of the story. Get through the storm, help Maren make your ship seaworthy again and light the first fire on the tower. Then sail south and find out what happened to Herold. It comes out in early 2027.

Light the fire, get your ship back

Bring fish to the tower and the sea flame catches. The whole harbour turns up with hammers, and by the end of the song your ship is back on the water. Reyn comes home with the flame and opens up the smokehouse again.

Grow it, sell it, paint your ship

Dig up seeds on the beach and grow them in Mab's old greenhouse. Kiba buys your harvest at her stall by the forge. Take the money to the shipyard and give that grey hull some colour.

Fish, row, look around

Sit on the old pier and fish until it gets dark. Row out to the island east of the harbour for wood. Bring Romy at the inn some coconuts and she'll bake you a cake. It's far too sweet.

After the demo

The full game carries on from there. Five flames on the tower, and each one brings someone home. A bigger ship, all the way up to a galleon. An ocean with no edge, where the bay you found last week is still exactly where you left it. And online co-op with your friends, starting in Early Access.
