WORDS ARE YOUR WEAPONS

LETTERBANE is a dark fantasy roguelite where you build words to fight monsters. Draw letter stones and combine them into attacks – longer words and rarer letters can hit harder, but sometimes the right word matters more than the longest one.

But your letters can do more: they carry different elements, while items can change how you use them. Combine both to create synergies, shape your build throughout each run and discover special words that can trigger unique effects.

ENEMIES FIGHT BACK

Your letters aren't safe. Enemies don't just attack you – they can burn, freeze, lock, steal or throw your stones around the battlefield. You'll have to find new words, react to the chaos and adapt your strategy along the way.

SHAPE YOUR RUN

Build your pool of letters as you progress, collect items that change how you play and develop elemental synergies for your build. Your choices shape the possibilities available to you as you face increasingly dangerous enemies and bosses.

LETTERBANE can be played entirely in English or German, with dedicated word systems for both languages.
