About This Game

Round one is a fair fight. Round five is not.

Duelists is a 2D arena brawler for 2 to 4 players, local or online. Win a round, get paid, spend it in the shop before the next one starts. Everyone shops. Everyone comes back worse.

By the end of a match you might be a tiny invisible wizard firing homing shotgun blasts that set the floor on fire, while slowly going blind because the drink was on sale. Your friends will have found something dumber.

No corners, no camera, no mercy

The whole arena fits on one screen and stays there. No split-screen, no camera picking favourites. Run off the left edge and you come back on the right, so there is nowhere to run and nothing to hide behind. Fights end fast, and they end in front of everybody.

• 25 upgrades that stack, combo, and regularly backfire

• Attack cards that rebuild your weapon: spread, rapid fire, homing, piercing, bouncing

• Elemental status effects: burn, freeze, poison, acid, and a lightning gauge that stuns when it fills

• Free aim with mouse or stick

• Wrap-around arenas, round timer, sudden death
