About RefmusePaper

RefmusePaper is a Windows desktop wallpaper companion for the Refmuse creative workbench. It lets users import selected static wallpaper images from the Refmuse workbench into a local wallpaper library and apply them to the Windows desktop.

The current Steam version supports:

- Opening the Refmuse online workbench

- Using a Steam session to connect to the Refmuse service

- Importing selected static images suitable for desktop wallpaper use

- Managing imported wallpapers in the desktop app

- Applying static image wallpapers to the Windows desktop

AI-assisted wallpaper creation is provided through the online Refmuse workbench. Users can use prompts or reference images to generate wallpaper images, then import selected results into RefmusePaper. These features require an internet connection, account access, available credits, and are subject to safety policies and content restrictions.

Additional AI credits in the Steam client are purchased through Steam Wallet.

Current scope:

- Static image wallpaper import and application are supported

- Video/live wallpaper hosting is not presented as a completed feature in this version

- Steam Workshop publishing is not presented as a completed feature in this version
