A sudden blackout struck an ordinary hotel.

When the power came back on, everyone was gone.

As the caretaker, you enter the hotel to search for the missing people.

But the floors of this place repeat endlessly,

and somewhere inside, something is definitely there.

『Something on the Floor』 is a story-driven anomaly horror game where you explore endlessly repeating hotel floors, find anomalies, and choose the correct escape route to move on to the next floor.

Each floor hides changes that were not there before.

Find what has changed, understand the rules of the hotel, and continue deeper into its repeating floors.

If you handle an anomaly incorrectly,

or choose the wrong path—

the hotel will begin to remember your mistakes.

Anomalies

In the repeating floors, anything that has changed from its usual state is an anomaly.

Anomalies may appear as tiny, subtle differences, or in forms that are impossible to ignore.

Observe your surroundings carefully.

Find what is wrong, deal with it in the correct way, and move on to the next floor.

Escape Routes

Each floor contains three escape routes.

You must choose the route that fits the situation in order to reach the next floor safely.

Elevator, stairs, emergency exit.

Even on the same floor, the safe path changes every time.

If you made the wrong choice, do not hesitate.

Run.

The Hotel’s Secret

As you repeat the game, collect torn pieces of notes.

These notes record what happened in this hotel, and why you were left behind here.

『Something on the Floor』 features three main endings, as well as a true ending that can only be reached after collecting every clue.

Speedrun Mode, made for players who have fully mastered the hotel’s rules,

and special modes that let you enjoy the hotel in completely different ways.

Sometimes, instead of running away, you may need to stand your ground.

Sometimes, the developer may appear inside the hotel.

And in one particular mode,

the hotel is ruled by cats.
