Why Early Access?

“The goal of Early Access is to gather player feedback and improve the game before its full 1.0 release.

Feedback on game balance, progression pacing, interface, difficulty, and any bugs players encounter will help me refine and polish the experience. As a solo developer, community feedback is invaluable in making VERLIES III the best game it can be.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is expected to remain in Early Access for approximately 2 to 3 months. During this time, I will finalize the remaining content, improve game balance, fix bugs, and incorporate community feedback before the full 1.0 release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is expected to provide a more polished experience thanks to community feedback gathered during Early Access. I plan to refine game balance, improve progression pacing, polish the interface, and address any significant issues that may be identified.

The goal is for version 1.0 to deliver a more stable, better-balanced, and overall more enjoyable experience than the initial Early Access release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable from beginning to end, and the main story can already be completed.

The remaining work mainly focuses on optional content that I plan to add or refine during Early Access, including additional bosses, side quests, more loot to discover, as well as balance improvements, interface polish, and bug fixes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. I plan to slightly increase the game's price when version 1.0 is released.

Players who choose to support the game during Early Access will receive it at a lower price as a thank you for their trust and for helping improve the game through their feedback.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will actively follow the Steam Community discussions and take the time to read player feedback, suggestions, and bug reports.

Community feedback will play an important role in shaping balance adjustments, progression pacing, interface improvements, and the overall polish of the game throughout Early Access.”
