What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We have so many ideas we’d love to implement, and we feel like we already have enough content for players to jump in, have fun, and get a real taste of what we want the full experience to become. Releasing in Early Access gives us the opportunity to actively grow the game alongside the community, gather valuable player feedback, and continue improving gameplay, balance, features, and overall polish based on what players enjoy most.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Fix-It Corp to remain in Early Access for roughly 12–18 months. This timeline may change depending on community feedback, feature expansion, balancing, and overall development progress. During Early Access, we plan to continue improving gameplay systems, adding new missions, anomalies, equipment, environments, and polishing the overall experience before a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to significantly expand on the Early Access experience with much more content, deeper gameplay systems, and improved overall replayability. Planned additions include player progression systems, more maps, more complex and varied anomalies, additional customization options, new game modes, and many other features that build on the core gameplay experience.

We also plan to continue refining the game through community feedback during Early Access. Player suggestions, balance feedback, and gameplay data will help us improve mechanics, pacing, difficulty, and overall polish leading up to the full release. Our goal is for the full version to feel much more complete, varied, and replayable while staying true to the experience players enjoyed during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version already offers a solid core gameplay experience that players can jump into and enjoy. The foundation of the game is fully playable, with core mechanics, multiplayer functionality, and the main gameplay loop already implemented. Players can experience the unique atmosphere and gameplay style while getting an early look at the direction we want to take the game.

At the same time, the game is still actively being developed. Some features and content are incomplete or planned for future updates, and players may encounter bugs, balancing issues, or areas that need additional polish. Throughout Early Access, we plan to continue expanding the game with new content, gameplay improvements, optimizations, quality-of-life features, and community-driven changes based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We currently plan to offer the game at a lower price during Early Access while development is still ongoing. As more content, features, polish, and overall improvements are added over time, the price may increase closer to or at full release.

We want to reward players who choose to support the game early and help us throughout development by providing feedback and helping shape the experience. Any future price changes will be communicated in advance as development progresses.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role throughout Early Access development. We plan to actively listen to player suggestions, bug reports, balance feedback, and feature requests as we continue expanding the game. Players will be able to share feedback through the Steam Community forums, our official Discord server, and our social media pages. We intend to use community input to help prioritize updates, improvements, new content, and overall polish during development.”

About This Game

You work for "Fix-It Corp." as a contractor — which means you’re expendable. Sent into abandoned buildings, condemned facilities, and restricted zones, your job is to clean up the aftermath of government mishaps and repair the damage caused by Fix-It Corp’s bioengineered anomalies.

Complete maintenance tasks, restore broken systems, and survive encounters with terrifying entities lurking within the dark. Work alone or with up to 4 players as you explore dangerous locations where something has gone horribly wrong.

The job pays well. Just don’t ask what happened to the last crew.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

This game contains violence, blood, horror themes, disturbing imagery, and encounters with hostile bioengineered creatures. Players may encounter corpses, graphic death scenes, and animated player death sequences when captured or killed by enemies. The game also includes themes involving government experimentation, workplace danger, and corporate negligence. Visuals are presented in a retro low-poly/PSX-inspired style.
