About This Game

Ten for the Descent is a dark strategy game about assembling a team for a descent where the greatest danger is not the monsters — but the people you send down.

Choose ten. Only some will return.

Recruit flawed heroes with hidden motives, fragile minds, and clashing loyalties. Equip them, prepare them… and then watch them break. Fear spreads. Trust collapses. One wrong decision can turn your expedition into betrayal, panic, or something worse.

Venture deeper in search of gold, relics, and forbidden truths — but every step down makes the cost of survival higher. Will you push further for greater rewards, or retreat before everything falls apart?

Return to the Keeper’s Hall to rebuild, adapt, and send the next team into the dark.

Every descent is a risk.
Every choice shapes who lives — and who doesn’t.
And in the end, the question is not how strong your team is…

…but how long it can hold itself together.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Let's get this out of the way early, because you deserve a straight answer before you wishlist.
The game is mine. I designed every system myself, the fear, loyalty and betrayal mechanics, the characters and their flaws, the branching structure, the whole idea of a team that destroys itself in the dark. That's the core of Ten for the Descent and it comes from me.
Where AI is used: it assists in production. Some pre-rendered visual assets, marketing materials, and parts of the in-game text are AI-assisted, then reviewed and edited by hand before they ship. There is no live AI generation during gameplay, so nothing is being generated while you play.
I'm a solo developer. AI lets me hit a quality bar I couldn't reach alone on this budget, so my real time goes into what matters: the design, the systems, and the choices that make your team fall apart in interesting ways.
If that's a dealbreaker for you, I understand, and I'd rather you know now than feel misled later.
Thanks for reading.
