About This Game

While creating the first musical engines, humanity accidentally touched the Universe itself.

It was an incredible breakthrough.

Many of the world’s old problems began to disappear. Transportation changed beyond recognition, new technologies emerged, and every discovery seemed to lead to another.

It was during this new era that Lux ex Sono was founded.

The company helped turn the future into reality, spreading musical engines, reactors, and other technologies across the world — while continuing to push the limits of what humanity thought was possible.

You play as Noud, the great-grandson of the brilliant scientist behind the original discovery.

By the age of twenty-five, Noud already understood how musical engines worked and knew how to maintain the reactors he had learned about from his family.

But his life changed after an accident at an old station abandoned by Lux ex Sono.

Noud’s parents and grandfather, who had been watching over the facility, were killed.

The station’s storage systems were still filling with extracted energy, and there was only one person who truly knew how to stop it from eventually overflowing: Noud’s great-grandfather.

But he had died years earlier, when Noud was only seventeen.

What remained was his notebook.

A collection of calculations, discoveries, and notes that he had kept for himself — refusing to hand them over to Lux ex Sono.

The company saw the notebook as a threat and had long wanted to obtain it.

Months after the tragedy, while Noud desperately tries to keep the unstable energy under control, he sees something on the television news:

His great-grandfather’s notebook will be presented at an exhibition celebrating the achievements of Lux ex Sono.

And the exhibition will take place aboard a flying city.

Noud sets out to find it.

But what will happen to the accumulating energy?

What did his great-grandfather discover?

Why did he refuse to give the notebook to Lux ex Sono?

And what awaits Noud in the city above the clouds?
