Qwak Reborn is a frantic, single-screen arcade platformer where danger lurks around every corner. With an "out of the frying pan, into the fire" vibe that keeps you on your toes, this is pure chaos that’s simple to learn but impossible to put down.

Originally born in the golden age of 80s arcade gaming, Qwak has been captivating players for decades. It has been lovingly rebuilt for modern platforms by the original solo creator. Same retro magic. Now on Steam.

Go it alone or team up with a friend for chaotic 2 player fun across 70 levels and 7 distinct worlds!

Key Features & How to Play:

• The Main Goal: Race against the clock to collect all the golden keys and reach the exit before it starts raining deadly spikes!

• Eggs: Throw eggs at baddies, but manage your ammo wisely. Collect fruit to restock your egg supply, and hunt for special eggs that deal massive damage or rain down chocolate fruit or candy.

• Flowers and Skulls: Mushrooms swap flowers into skulls, and skulls into flowers. Collect 10 flowers for an extra life, but avoid the skulls at all costs!

• Puzzles: Use coloured keys to open gates and treasure chests. On puzzle levels, you'll need to pull levers, spring traps, and find vanishing walls in the perfect order to access goodies or find a diamond or two.

• Potions: Transform your abilities: zap baddies, double damage eggs, invisibility, high jump, freeze baddies, flying boots, invulnerability, extra armour, and more.

• Umbrellas: Grab umbrellas to make it rain! Coloured and white umbrellas drop fruits, potions, and supa eggs. Watch out for black umbrellas, they rain spikes!

Originally released on the BBC Micro and Commodore Amiga, Qwak is a piece of indie gaming history. Built by the exact same solo developer who created the original, Qwak Reborn brings the authentic, tight challenge of the 1980s coin-op era straight into the modern day.
