About This Game

AI Slop: TCG is a tactical, grotesque, and pretty unhinged roguelike card game built from one very simple idea:

What if all that AI-generated visual trash became an actual card game?

Because we’ve all seen it. Gross images, amorphous faces, hands with 7 fingers, characters that look like they crawled out of a nightmare after a very long night out…

That stuff is called AI slop. And instead of ignoring it, I decided to embrace it… throw it into a blender… add some dark humor, a bit of satire, a truckload of horrible creatures, and turn it into a game.

The result is AI Slop TCG, a rotten, absurd digital universe full of characters that should not exist, but somehow do now… sorry about that.

You won’t be summoning elves with sculpted bodies or legendary dragons here. You’ll be playing cards like Jim Caramierda, Pupilas Jackson, Maximo Retorno, and other aberrations that look like they came out of a 2021 AI generator, worse than that actor eating spaghetti.

Each battle takes place on a physical board, with cards, resources, dice, coins, potions, and a strong dose of chaos and randomness. You summon creatures, sacrifice tears to keep your economy alive, attack your opponent, trigger absurd abilities, and slowly build a deck that becomes dirtier, more efficient, and more “you”.

And yes: every creature has attack, defense, and cringe.

Cringe is not just there for decoration. It is one of the game’s actual mechanics. If you try to attack a creature with more cringe than yours, you can fail miserably, because in this universe being more gross and embarrassing is also a form of psychological defense. It is stupid. Does it make sense? It works 😎 Welcome to the slop.

On top of that, physical elements appear on the board during the match and add new mechanics. A coin can decide whether an attack passes a cringe test. A dice can resolve special effects. A potion can save you at the worst possible moment.

The progression is roguelike: you play battles, win cards, open packs, choose rewards, upgrade your deck, and decide whether to move forward or keep farming for that disgusting card that just destroyed you. Little by little, you go from a crappy survival deck to something disgustingly functional.

There are also enemies with personality. They talk to you, react to your plays, mock you, and play their cards with bad intentions. Every lieutenant and every boss belongs to this digital landfill packed with satire, dark humor, and grotesque characters that parody internet culture, AI, modern companies, gurus, hype sellers, and all the digital wildlife we somehow have to live with.

What to expect

  • A weird, tactical, and highly replayable roguelike card game.

  • Grotesque creatures born inside the AI slop universe.

  • A unique cringe mechanic that directly affects combat.

  • A physical board with elements like coins, dice, potions, and interactive resources.

  • Reward packs, deckbuilding, and chapter-based progression.

  • Enemies that react, mock you, and make decisions during the match.

  • Absurd characters like Jim Caramierda, Maximo Retorno, and many other creatures that probably should not have rights.

  • Dark humor, satire, cursed aesthetics, and a lot of love for card games.

AI Slop TCG is a game made with love for card battlers, roguelikes, and tabletop games. I hope you can enjoy it beyond the “noise”.

I’m not sure this game should exist.

But it does.

And honestly, I think it might be weird as hell.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

This game uses AI-generated and AI-assisted content as part of its creative process.

AI Slop: TCG exists because of a very specific idea: taking the weird, imperfect, grotesque, and absurd look of what people call “AI slop” and turning it into a roguelike card game full of satire, dark humor, and creatures that probably should not exist.

That is why AI has mainly been used to create and develop the creature illustrations for the cards. It is not an accidental extra or some hidden shortcut: it is part of the game’s concept, lore, and visual identity. Without that mutant digital-trash aesthetic, the project would lose a big part of what makes it work.

AI has also been used as support for visual ideation and production, which is especially important for a game being made by a solo developer.

The game does not generate AI content in real time during gameplay. All included content has been reviewed, selected, edited, and manually integrated by the developer.
