What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I am releasing Crown Chaos in Early Access to gather player feedback and improve the core gameplay experience.

The game is focused on multiplayer interactions, physics, and upgrade systems, which benefit heavily from real player testing. Early Access allows me to refine balance, improve performance, and better understand how players interact with mechanics like pushing, ragdoll physics, and card upgrades.

I plan to actively update the game during Early Access based on community feedback, focusing on improving gameplay feel, stability, and overall polish while continuing development toward a full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect Crown Chaos to be in Early Access for several months to a year while I continue development and gather feedback. The exact duration may change depending on development progress and community input.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the game with additional content and improvements based on player feedback. This may include more upgrade cards, additional maps, more customization options, and further refinements to gameplay systems.

We will continue to improve performance, balance, and overall game feel throughout development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of Crown Chaos includes the core multiplayer gameplay loop. Players can join matches, compete in king of the hill rounds, push and ragdoll other players, and earn score by controlling the zone.

The game currently includes basic movement, pushing click and hold mechanics, and a working King Of The Hill round system. Some upgrade systems and additional content are still in development, and overall polish is ongoing.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Crown Chaos is planned to remain free to play during Early Access and after full release.

I plan to support the game through optional cosmetic purchases and customization options. These items are visual only and do not affect gameplay or provide any competitive advantage.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to gather feedback from players through community discussions and gameplay testing. Player feedback will help guide improvements to gameplay balance, performance, and overall game feel.

As development continues, I will use player input to help prioritize updates and refine systems like movement, pushing mechanics, and upgrades.”

About This Game

Crown Chaos is a chaotic 3D multiplayer king of the hill game where players fight to control a moving zone using physics-based pushing and ragdoll combat.

In each match, players compete to stay inside the active hill. If you are the only player inside the zone, you gain score. If multiple players are inside, the hill becomes contested and no one earns points.

Players can push, collide, and knock each other off balance to take control. The physics-based movement creates unpredictable and often chaotic fights where positioning and timing matter.

As the match progresses, the hill will move to new locations. When this happens, the game briefly slows down and players choose from a set of random upgrade cards. These upgrades can improve movement, increase push strength, or add new abilities that change how you play.

Each round builds on the last, with players stacking upgrades and creating different playstyles. No two matches play the same way.

Be the only one in the Zone and Standing to Gain Points.
