About This Game

Who will become the true “Romance Maestro”?

The Romance Maestro is a social strategy game built around the fantasy of a dating sim, but driven by multiplayer mind games and tactical competition. You and other players are all pursuing the same romantic interest, planning your own route with limited time and Action Points.

You can take a steady approach, building Affection through conversation, companionship, gifts, and self-improvement. Or you can investigate the environment, gather clues, observe your rivals, clear up misunderstandings at the right moment, or create public pressure through rumors. Every player’s actions can affect the phase resolution, and a single conversation, observation, rumor, or discovered boundary-crossing action may change the entire direction of the relationship battle.

The romantic interest is not just a score meter. She has dynamic attributes such as Affection, Spark, Trust, and Disgust. High Affection can move the relationship forward, but whether it becomes intimate also depends on Spark and Trust. If your actions create enough discomfort or resentment, the relationship may fall apart even when Affection is high. When rumors, misunderstandings, or evidence appear, she will judge the situation based on how much she trusts each player.

Key Features

  • Multiplayer Romance Strategy

Compete with multiple players for the same romantic interest’s attention and trust. Each player can choose a different route: sincere conversation, personal charm, expensive gifts, information gathering, rumor manipulation, or counterplay against rivals.

  • AP Actions and Phase Resolution

Each phase gives you a limited amount of AP. You must decide how to spend it between conversation, investigation, observation, movement, self-improvement, gift-giving, and defense. All players plan their actions, then the phase resolves based on action order, character attributes, and the current scene state.

  • Dynamic Relationship Values

The romantic interest has several relationship attributes:

(1) Affection: Reaching maximum Affection is required for victory, and it also determines how quickly the relationship progresses.

(2) Spark: Determines whether the final relationship develops as friendship or as something more intimate.

(3) Trust: Reduces the negative impact of rumors and misunderstandings, and may even turn baseless slander back against the accuser.

(4) Disgust: Records boundary-crossing behavior, discomfort, and negative impressions. It can block the final outcome, and when Trust and Disgust are both high, it may trigger a “Contrast Combo.”

Victory is not just about filling the Affection meter. You must guide the relationship in the right direction while avoiding misunderstandings, backlash, or rejection at crucial moments.

  • Information, Evidence, and Rumor Warfare

You can gain information by talking to classmates, observing other players, and investigating clues in the scene. Some evidence can be used to clear up misunderstandings, while rivals may twist the same evidence out of context to create rumors. The higher the target’s Trust in you, the harder it is for baseless public opinion to affect her; but when stronger evidence appears, you will still need a convincing explanation.

  • Multiple Routes to Victory

      You can choose to:

(1) Build the relationship steadily through conversation and companionship.

(2) Work part-time to earn money and buy gifts for an Affection advantage.

(3) Improve your charm, knowledge, or other personal abilities.

(4) Gather information to learn the target’s preferences and boundaries.

(5) Observe rival behavior and catch their mistakes.

(6) Create, spread, or clear up rumors to influence how the situation is judged.

Different routes come with different risks. Aggressive strategies may quickly shift the game in your favor, but they can also raise Disgust, lower Trust, or make you the target of a counterattack.

  • First Impressions and Scene Interaction

At the start of a match, players take their first actions in an initial scene such as the classroom. Who interacts with the romantic interest first, how they express themselves, whether they observe others, and whether they investigate the environment can all affect the first impression and the later state of the game.

  • Multiple Relationship Endings

When a player approaches the victory condition, the system evaluates the ending based on Affection, Spark, Trust, Disgust, and key event records. You may form an intimate relationship, become a trusted friend, or fail because of excessive interference, accumulated misunderstandings, or boundary-crossing behavior. The first player to fill the Affection meter is not guaranteed to win.
