Alex is desperate. His mother, Susan, is bedridden and the medical bills are piling up. When a woman named Marilyn offers him a job at her trendy cat cafe, he has no choice but to take it. But Purrfect Bliss is built on a dark history. It is the same place where Alex's father died exactly five years ago.

Five years ago, three mysterious deaths happened here in a single year. The police called them accidents, but the truth was buried to protect the cafe’s perfect image. As Alex serves coffee and follows Marilyn’s strange instructions, he begins to realize he is walking the same path his father did. Something is skittering in the vents, and the cafe’s pets are starting to act very strange.
