How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access only shows the beginning of the story and just a couple of key characters. The world of Solaris is much bigger. The full version will include many new mechanics, locations, puzzles, characters, and most importantly — the complete story of your hero.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access is an introduction to the game, the setup of the plot. You'll meet several key characters, go through a few starting locations, solve puzzles, play mini-games, learn the world's backstory, and get a sense of where things are heading.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the final price will be significantly higher than the Early Access price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I regularly post updates in the Cherry Games Telegram channel and sometimes run polls. You can also leave reviews directly on the game's page. I read them carefully and try to respond quickly to feedback. If an idea is great and fits the concept, I might just add it.”

Solaris is a top-down 2D fantasy RPG where you take on the role of an ordinary person embarking on a very dangerous journey to fulfill the last will of a loved one.

What awaits you:

Story and exploration: You will travel through many unique locations. Explore the environment, solve puzzles, and uncover the history of this world.

NPCs and dialogues: Meet dozens of vivid, strange, and memorable characters. Each has their own personality, habits, and story. You will laugh with some, genuinely pity others, argue with a few, and your choices may affect how they treat you.

Mini-games and mechanics: Your path is filled with a huge variety of activities: from speed-based wheat gathering and tangled labyrinths to musical puzzles. The world of Solaris is full of little secrets and unexpected pastimes.

Atmosphere and uniqueness: The road is full of humor, unexpected encounters, and bright moments. But the further you go, the clearer it becomes that beneath this cute exterior lies something ancient, dark, and unsettling. A story inspired by Sumerian mythology, pleasant music, and pixel art graphics create a unique mood.
