About This Game

Spirit Ritual is a supernatural horror VR/MR game. Become a psychic medium and break the demonic curse threatening the life of Shu-Mei Lin. Equip your camera, enter the spirit realm and capture ghosts to reveal the truth. Fail, and the demon will consume your soul.

Summon ghosts by capturing them with your camera. Beware - they will walk through your walls, disappear through your furniture and materialize when your back is turned. 

Fail, and the demon will eat your heart…!

With a Spirit Board, you communicate with the murdered relatives of Shu-Mei, the last survivor of her family. Can they help you save her from being the demon’s final victim?

Let yourself be guided by the spirits, and trace out important clues to defeating the demon. Outwit it, or you and Shu-Mei are doomed…

3D FMV brings Shu-Mei and the ghosts of her family to life. Interact directly with live-action characters and experience a ghost story that unfolds not on a screen, but inside your own home.

The developers describe the content like this:

This game contains supernatural horror, demonic possession, disturbing rituals, depictions of death and suicide, graphic blood and injuries, and psychological distress. During some rituals, the player character deliberately cuts themselves and draws blood. The game also includes a graphic act of familial violence in which a daughter kills her father.

During XR sequences, spirits may appear within, move through, and react to the player’s physical surroundings. Because these encounters take place within the player’s own environment, they may feel particularly intense or unsettling.
