~ Demo Context ~

Olin Earl has learned from his pal Death Himself (The Grim Reaper) that his grandson, Alan Earl, is scheduled to perish very soon, but how and why?

Olin has taken it upon himself to locate Alan and rescue him. He hobbled out of his deathbed and across Eureka Village to his grandson's sculpture studio.

He finds the studio in shambles, a bloodstain on the floor, and that Alan is missing. At this moment, Death offers to make a deal with Olin. He grants Olin the vitality of his youth, enabling him to run, jump, and paraglide with his umbrella. In return, Olin has promised to find and collect the Lost Souls that have been stranded around the village since the Great Big War.

The Demo places Olin near the end of Act 1. We have just entered Lawson Manor, where we believe Alan could be held captive.

Exiting the manor is disabled, and so is saving.
