MEMORY DEALER

You are a memory trafficker operating in the margins of a neon-lit future. Your workspace: a glowing holographic brain that lives in the corner of your desktop. Your business: harvesting stolen memories and selling them to BRN CORP, one by one, while you go about your day.

The Loop

Memories surface as pulses drifting across the brain's surface. Click to discover them — each find pays an immediate cash bonus and reveals the memory hidden inside. Assign discovered memories to your generator slots and watch them sell automatically. The brain hums quietly in the background. The cash rolls in.

Not all memories are equal. Commons trickle steady income for hours. Legendaries burst for a fortune and vanish fast. Your job is knowing which memories to run, when to stack them, and when to move on.

Progression

Every memory has a finite stock. When it runs dry it refines permanently — gaining value and returning to the pool. Memories you've extracted before are worth more the second time. The tenth time even more.

When you've drained every secret a brain holds, wipe it. A new mind unlocks — a different person, a different past, a different shape of memories to find. Wipes pay out Neurons, the permanent currency you spend on extra slots and run-defining upgrades that survive every reset.

The Dealer's Brain

You're addicted to your own product. Throughout play, you'll involuntarily crave memories you've discovered. RESIST costs cash and escalates with tolerance. INDULGE is free — but the craved memory is gone from your inventory forever, implanted into your own brain as a passive ability, and the host brain's pulse for that memory becomes a phantom: a black-cluster ghost that drains cash on every encounter, for the rest of the save.

The dealer's brain is the sixth surface. It fills over time with glowing cores, one per implant, scaling five archetype-themed abilities. Every late-game save tells a different story of who you couldn't say no to.
