“I am developing Street Basketball Online as an independent developer and want to build the core gameplay mechanics alongside the community. Early Access allows me to gather crucial player feedback, balance core online multiplayer mechanics, and implement new features based directly on what the community wants to see in the final game. Instead of shaping the game entirely on my own, I believe that with player feedback, we can evolve it into a much more enjoyable, balanced, and competitive street basketball experience. Early Access is the perfect way to build this court together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to keep the game in Early Access for approximately 4 to 6 months. This duration may vary depending on the volume of player feedback and the development timeline for the new mechanics I intend to integrate.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, I plan to significantly expand the game's depth and excitement. Here are the key goals on our roadmap:

-Character Customization: Detailed outfits, hairstyles, and styling options for players to reflect their own style on the court.

-New Street Courts (Maps): Brand new courts with unique vibes and street-style atmospheres.

-Better Animations: Much more fluid, visually polished, and dynamic movement/dunk animations.

-Advanced Gameplay Mechanics: New mechanical touches to increase gameplay depth while remaining fully realistic and true to the raw spirit of street basketball.

-Team Tournament Mode: A competitive tournament system where players can form their own squads and challenge each other.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently built upon a fully playable and stable core experience. The features available in the Early Access version include:

Custom Lobby System: A lobby infrastructure where you can easily join your friends and enjoy fun, competitive matches together.

Core Mechanics: All the essential gameplay mechanics that define street basketball including shooting, passing, blocking, and stealing are completely functional.

Two Distinct Courts (Maps): Two uniquely designed street basketball courts that are fully ready for players to experience the energy of the streets.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, but there won't be a significant difference in pricing during and after Early Access. I plan to launch the game at a very affordable base price so that anyone can easily jump in and join the court from day one. When transitioning to the full version, there will be a small, minor price adjustment to reflect the newly added content like new courts, animations, and tournament modes. The main goal is to build a solid community and reward the players who support the project from the very beginning. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The voice of our community will be the primary driving force behind this game's development. To make it as seamless as possible for players to reach me, I am integrating a direct "Feedback" button right into the game's main menu. Players will be able to submit bug reports, balancing suggestions, or new feature ideas directly through this button without even leaving the game.”
