About This Game

Malignus is a 2D dungeon colony sim where you play as a dungeon boss and all of the minions and creatures under them as they build a dungeon together and raid the overworld for treasure. Your dungeon is a growing, scheming evil with minions to command, chambers to carve, prisoners to keep, treasures to hoard, and a whole world of meddling adventurers determined to put an end to you.

Malignus Game Features 

• Carve out your dungeon. Dig through solid rock, shape rooms, and fill your growing domain with workshops, beds, thrones, altars, traps, and more.

• Command six monster races. Goblins, kobolds, orcs, gnolls, bugbears, and ogres each bring their own strengths and differences to your dungeon.

• Manage a dungeon full of personalities. Dozens of traits, grumblings, social interactions, and a variety of breakdowns ensure your minions won't always behave themselves.

• Turn your halls into a deathtrap. Build dart throwers, spinning blades, flamethrowers, gas traps, electric coils, webs, and more! Wire them to pressure plates, tripwires, sensors, levers, and timers.

• Choose your Boss. Rule as one of four powerful Boss monsters, each with unique abilities that grow stronger alongside your treasure hoard.

• Defend what you've stolen. Adventurer invasions grow larger and deadlier over time, with six races, ten classes, and more than 40 traits standing between you and keeping your hoard.

• Keep plenty of prisoners. Capture surviving adventurers, chain them up, and interrogate them for valuable secrets. Your minions expect a proper dungeon to have captives, and they won’t be happy if you come up short.

• Tame the things lurking underground. More than 30 wild creatures inhabit the caves. Build one of nine lair types, tame creatures as pets, or hunt them when your pantry gets empty.

• Practice the dark arts. Master Pyromancy, Electromancy, Necromancy, and Shadowmancy spells, perform rituals, and bargain with dark gods for powerful boons.

• Raid the world above. Send your minions across the overworld to attack settlements, command every raid in real time, and deal with a world that remembers what you've done.

• Keep the dungeon running. Feed your minions, give them somewhere to sleep, craft equipment and supplies, and try to maintain order when tempers, disasters, and dungeon life inevitably get in the way.

• Rule together. Build and manage one shared dungeon with 2–4 player co-op.
