What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are releasing The Lifeline in Early Access to improve the game with player feedback before the full release.

Early Access will help us improve balance, enemy behavior, performance, bug fixes, and overall polish.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep The Lifeline in Early Access for approximately 3 to 6 months.

This may change depending on player feedback, bug fixes, performance improvements, and the final polish needed before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to be more polished and improved than the Early Access version.

We plan to improve enemy behavior, gameplay balance, performance, sound design, horror moments, level details, and overall game quality based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version includes the core survival horror experience.

Players can explore a dark hospital, encounter zombies, use weapons, survive tense moments, and experience the main gameplay loop.

The game is playable, but balance, performance, bug fixes, and general polish are still being improved.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase after Early Access as the game receives more content and improvements.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through Steam reviews, discussions, bug reports, and player feedback.

Player feedback will help us improve balance, fix problems, optimize performance, and polish the overall horror experience.”

About This Game

You do not know where you are.

You do not know when it is.

When you open your eyes, the only thing you realize is this:

The living inside this place are already dead.

The Lifeline is a first person survival horror game set in a dark and abandoned hospital.

As the player, your goal is to find a way out of the hospital, survive against zombies, and overcome the dangers you encounter. While exploring the hospital corridors, patient rooms, and closed areas, you will use weapons, watch out for traps, and react quickly to unexpected attacks.

The game includes exploration, zombie encounters, weapon use, close danger moments, quick reaction scenes, a tense sound atmosphere, and survival focused gameplay.

With every step, the line between life and death becomes thinner.

Hunting zombies is not as easy as you think.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some sound effects and voice related audio assets were created or assisted using generative AI tools. These assets are used as part of the game's horror atmosphere and enemy audio design. The game does not generate AI content in real time during gameplay.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

The game contains frequent violence and blood. Players fight zombie like enemies using firearms and melee attacks. The game may include blood effects, injured enemies, dead bodies, dark horror environments, and intense scary moments.
