Why Early Access?

“I would like those who enjoy the current content to support the project with helpful comments and feedback. This way, as the mechanics are implemented and the game is completed, the community will be able to enjoy a much more polished and robust experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“As someone who does everything solo, from pixel art to level design, I can't promise a specific date, but I would expect that with the pace I usually work at, and with the main map already finished, it might only be a matter of around 1 to 2 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to add multiple endings to the story, interactions that can change how certain areas are played, currently 3 playable days, lore that provides context for the world and not just the protagonist, and up to 3 enemies to face, including a secret boss at the story's climax.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access currently has up to 6 playable zones: Library, The lodging , The lodging basement, Lighthouse, Lighthouse Hallway, and the Town. It also includes: Noor's introduction, Ophidia introduction, presentation of Blame and Sibil, confrontation with Daemon, Noor's memories, search for the lighthouse keeper, introduction of the Void Demon, and the prelude to its confrontation.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price will increase as the game's story reaches certain stages. Players who support the project early during Early Access will get the game at a reduced price as a thank you for their trust.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will be personally reading and taking notes on all comments in the Steam forums and on our Discord server, which already has a dedicated channel for suggestions. For me, player feedback is vital to ensure that Reunion Fate moves in the right direction.”

About This Game

Reunion Fate is a dark fantasy experience of psychological horror, bringing discomfort to every corner and uncertainty through the creatures that lurk within the mysterious village of Ophidia

Demons and specters, nightmarish creatures from which your only salvation is praying to the Prime Archons so they do not find you.

  • Pay attention when the music stops; listen to the sounds, and do not let them see you.

  • Speak with the inhabitants of Ophidia; they can tell you how to progress.

  • Uncover everything your surroundings hold and reveal what Noor refuses to admit.

  • Explore the environments looking for what the inhabitants desire to grant you the information you want to know.

  • Sibil is the only one who can accompany you; trust at least in him.

Venture into conversation and get to know the inhabitants of Ophidia. They will not just ask you for things; in return, they can provide information that will help you better cope with your encounters with the demons and specters residing in the village. From the undead to supernatural beings, no ordinary inhabitant will harm you, and only one of them will insult you if you disturb them.

History

In a strange village far from familiar surroundings, near an ancient crater, a mystery has emerged that has captured Noor's attention: the lighthouse keeper has disappeared. She must venture into the village of Ophidia with the purpose of finding him while trying to survive against the specters and demons that inhabit the place, discovering along the way that perhaps she shares a mysterious connection with the village without ever having been there before.

Aesthetics

Reunion Fate focuses on a black-and-white aesthetic that reflects a division between life and death from the perspective of both the world and the protagonist herself, a division from which no one can escape once they reach the other side. Death does not forgive life, nor does it grant second chances; it simply does its job. It is not cruel; it is merely just with the rules
