About This Game

Hurl an enormous line into an anomalous ocean in online co-op. Haul up physics-driven oddities, then burn them for fuel, crush them for currency, or hook them as bait. Combine baits to bend the odds, stake them on rare catches, and build your dock toward new islands.

See the Odds, Then Commit

The ocean holds junk, valuables, weapons, and things that fight back. Cast in, and two wheels show what you might pull up and how likely each outcome is, including failure. The odds drift with the tide, so pick your moment, lock in, and stop the needle. Hit a failure slice and you lose more than the catch.

Anything Can Be Bait

Whatever comes out of the water can go back in on the hook: scrap, coins, hostile creatures, crewmates. Each bait changes the wheel in its own way, shrinking the failure zone, slowing the needle, or changing what can turn up at all. Stack several to build the odds you want. A bare hook is a long shot. A good stack makes rare catches likely, and gives you more to lose.

Every Catch Has a Use

Nothing gets sold and nothing is trash. Every item has its own fuel value, crush yield, and bait effect, so every catch is a decision: burn it in the Furnace to keep the machinery running, feed it to the Crusher for currency, break it down for wood and scrap, or put it back on the hook. Items are physical objects, not inventory entries, and anything left lying around can be lost.

Build Toward the Horizon

Wood and scrap from your catches extend a dock out from the main island. Waters farther out are harder to fish and hold rarer catches, and new islands hold supplies and hidden codes. Spend your earnings at the vending machine on better gear and keep building. There is a destination out there, and the dock is the only way to reach it.

Brave the Hazards

Health and hunger need tending. Roaming anomalies and some of your own catches threaten the crew and the dock. Anomalies also change what the water around them gives up, so the best fishing spot is often the dangerous one. Online co-op is for Steam friends only, with one shared stockpile.
