“Beyond Camp Starling is planned to remain in Early Access for approximately six months to one year. This timeline may change based on player feedback, development needs, and the amount of content added before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand on the Early Access release with a longer quest line, more areas to explore, additional dialogue, more environmental clues, and more strange encounters throughout the campground and the woods beyond. We also plan to continue refining pacing, atmosphere, performance, and overall player guidance based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is planned to include the core first-person exploration experience, an initial section of the campground and surrounding woods, basic quests, dialogue, interactable objects, environmental clues, and the foundation of the game’s atmosphere and mystery. Players should expect a playable but still-developing version of the game, with content, polish, performance, quest flow, and overall presentation continuing to improve throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The Early Access price may be lower than the final release price. We plan to evaluate pricing as development continues and may increase the price as more content, features, and polish are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through Discord discussions, Steam Community posts, surveys, and feedback forms. Player feedback will help guide decisions around quest flow, exploration, atmosphere, performance, accessibility, and which areas or features should be expanded as development continues.”
