Why Early Access?

“We want to build UrbanRail Metro Simulator alongside our community. A metro simulator greatly benefits from direct player feedback to fine-tune driving physics, route design, signaling, and system behavior. Early Access allows us to gather real-time suggestions to make the game as immersive as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This timeline will depend heavily on community feedback and the development progress of new planned lines and features.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of UrbanRail Metro Simulator is planned to expand upon the core content. We aim to add more routes, additional train systems, dynamic weather conditions, and a deeper timetable system. We also plan to polish graphics, optimize performance, and fix bugs based on player experiences.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the Early Access version features two fully functional routes, five detailed train models with interactive cabs and their own systems, basic signaling and passenger control systems, three game modes, and several missions. The game is already fully enjoyable and playable from beginning to end in this first phase.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to moderately increase the price as we introduce new content, major features, and approach the full release, to reward players who support us early on.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be highly active on the Steam Discussion Forums. We will set up dedicated spaces for bug reporting, feature suggestions, and discussions regarding game physics and routes. Community feedback will actively shape the future of UrbanRail!”
