Why Early Access?

“Cozy Worlds is a game best built publicly, to include the community. We host community world-building competitions, multiplayer feedback sessions, and have more experiences planned to involve players in the development of Cozy Worlds.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“6-9 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version of Cozy Worlds to add:
- More worlds and items: adding many more groves to tend, and expanding the roster of plants and objects you unlock along the way
- Animals living in the world: today your worlds fill with flora and terrain. For 1.0 we're bringing in creatures that inhabit the space you build, birds, fish, cats, to make your world feel lived-in.
- Shared creative multiplayer: currently available in beta to players, we're working on the ability to open your world to friends and build together
- More joy: we're reworking water to be more delightful, adding more musicality to creation, and spending the time to make each action and moment full of joy and surprise.
- Ongoing polish: more comfort and accessibility options, performance work, and the many small refinements that come out of watching people play.

We expect this list to shift as we hear from players in Early Access, and we'll keep this section updated as it does.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Cozy Worlds is playable and complete as an experience today. Here's exactly what you get right now:
Seven Worlds of Guided Building: unlock tools and items to fill groves along a guided experience bringing worlds to life.
Creative Mode: No restrictions, use all unlocked tools and items to build anything you wish.
Pudu Mode: Scale down into the world you’ve built to explore, relax, and appreciate what you’ve made
Glossary of Items: 140+ items to unlock.
Multiplayer World Building: Currently in Beta

A full set of world-building tools, each unlocked and taught in-game:
- Terrain Brush: sculpt and carve the voxel landscape directly with your hands
- Hammer: break terrain apart and clear away what you don't want
- Spawner: grow plants and objects into the world
- Grabber: pick up, move, and place things precisely
