Why Early Access?

“Tiny Idle has a solid core gameplay loop with 20+ units, dozens of items, a forge system, and boss fights — but there's so much more we want to add. Early Access lets us get the game into players' hands now so we can shape the direction of new content based on real feedback. We want the community to help decide which units, items, and mechanics get priority.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Roughly 6 to 12 months. We plan to ship regular content updates throughout Early Access and transition to a full release once the major planned features are implemented and the game feels complete. We're targeting a full release around Q1-Q2 2027, but this may shift based on the scope of community-requested features.”

About This Game

Tiny Idle is an auto-battler idle roguelike where your army fights on its own - Play fully in the background! Recruit units, collect loot, upgrade your forces, and push deeper through endless waves of increasingly dangerous enemies.

Recruit and Upgrade Your Army Start with basic melee pawns and archers, then unlock a growing roster of specialized units. Train Healers to keep your front line alive, Tanks to absorb hits, and eventually promote them into powerful Tier 2 classes - Paladins that heal while fighting, Druids with AoE healing auras, Berserkers that hit harder as they take damage, and Knights that shield nearby allies.

Discover Powerful Special Units As you progress, you'll encounter and unlock 13+ special unit types with unique abilities: Pyromaniac fire mages, Venomancers with poison DOT, Necromancers that raise skeletons, Warlords with devastating AoE slams, chain-lightning Stormcallers, and more - including a massive Troll Boss that swings with knockback before recovering.

Collect and Forge Items Open chests between waves to find items across 6 rarity tiers - from Common all the way up to Mythical. Items boost your army's HP, damage, speed, crit chance, healing, gold income, and more. Sacrifice Legendary items in the Forge for a chance at game-changing Mythics like Sheep's Call (turns pawns into exploding sheep) or Necro Grip (makes your healers summon skeletons). Combine Mythics in the Special Forge to create "The Caller" - an item of a rarity beyond Mythical: Not of this World.

Deep Progression Systems Spend gold on upgrades across multiple tabs: unlock new unit types, buff your minions' stats, improve your economy, or invest in Ascension bonuses that persist across runs. Level up your commander to choose powerful perks. Stack crit chains with the Luck stat for massive damage spikes.

Idle-Friendly Design Your army auto-spawns, auto-targets, and auto-attacks - watch the battle unfold or step in to manage upgrades, item decisions, and forge choices. Designed to run in the corner of your screen while you do other things, but with enough depth to actively engage when you want.
