As part of the core gameplay, players choose to sever their own fingers — sequences include finger dismemberment, mutilation of hands, visible blood, and writhing body bags. Some sequences include implied death. A blood-free mode is available in the in-game menu and removes blood and visible wounds while preserving the gameplay. Players sensitive to themes of self-harm, dismemberment, or body horror should be aware that finger removal is central to play.
