What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Eternal Spring: Oblivion is an ambitious project for a single developer and a long—term commitment for many years. Such a game cannot be made in one approach, so early access has become the most logical solution to remain independent and develop the project qualitatively in stages. My goals are to release a playable version, receive regular feedback from the community, and use it to improve the project towards the full version. I am fully ready to continue working on the game, listen to the players and bring it to its final state. If you are interested in the content and Early Access features, you can read about them in the "About this Game" section."”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Eternal Spring: Oblivion is a long-term project, and an approximate estimate of how long the game will be in early access is approximately 2-4 years. However, this assessment depends on many factors that cannot yet be determined.
As for the content, the game will be released from Early Access as soon as all planned features are implemented and the game becomes fully playable.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Eternal Spring: Oblivion will contain significantly more content. It is planned to add new merchants with their own task chains, expand the current location and introduce several new points of interest. It is also planned to add new enemies, new weapons, body kits and ammunition, and additional mechanics. Work is planned to improve the graphics, optimize and overall atmosphere of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The version of Eternal Spring: Oblivion in early access is in a playable state, but there may be minor flaws, bugs and errors that do not affect the gameplay and do not interfere with the passage of the game. The game can be played from start to finish, but it doesn't have all the planned content. If you are interested in the content and Early Access features, you can read about them in the "About this Game" section."”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan to increase the price after the game is released from Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“To engage the community, I run YouTube and Telegram channels, as well as a VKontakte public page and a Discord server. In them, I publish development reports and share project news.”

About This Game

Eternal Spring: Oblivion — an atmospheric first-person shooter with survival and RPG elements set in a living open world.

Survive the chaotic 90s, where Slavic mythology has bled into reality. Explore the half-abandoned streets of Kerch and its surroundings, study deadly anomalies, fight mythological creatures and ruthless bandits, help the remaining locals, and unravel the mystic secrets of a world stuck in eternal spring.

Open World

Discover a detailed open world spanning over 4 km², including the eastern districts of Kerch, the merged Kerch Sea Trade Port and shipyard, coastline, and dense forests with a forgotten village.

A full day-night cycle, dynamic wind, and changing weather deeply affect gameplay. At night visibility drops dramatically, creatures become more aggressive, and you must prepare for the darkness — or return to safety to rest.

Scavenge notes, newspapers, and letters scattered across the world to piece together personal stories and the larger lore. Loot shops, abandoned ambulances, military trucks, and houses. The more dangerous the area, the better the rewards.

Distorted anomalous zones await — from crackling power lines to toxic swamps and fiery craters. Inside them you can find strange anomalous nuggets that grant powerful positive or negative effects: restoring health and stamina, or suddenly increasing hunger and thirst.

Survival, Skills & Progression

Constantly manage your health, hunger, thirst, stamina, and vigor. Bleeding, insomnia, and exhaustion can kill you just as easily as bullets or claws.

Progress your character through actions: moving builds Strength (more carry weight, faster movement, higher jumps), eating different foods improves Metabolism (hunger and thirst grow slower), and taking damage raises Resilience (lower chance of bleeding and reduced incoming damage).

Upon death, skills reset to default values. You only lose what you were carrying — and respawn at the last bed you slept in.

Weapons & Gear

Your arsenal includes the PM pistol, OTs-33, AKM, AS Val, and shotguns. Customize some weapons with red-dot and optical sights, as well as extended magazines.

Choose from several types of backpacks, clothing, and plate carriers. More weapons, attachments, and gear are planned for the future.

Enjoy a realistic Tetris-style inventory with item combining, quick-use slots, and smart weight distribution across your character and backpack.

Traders & Quests

There are several merchants with different views waiting for you in the city and safe zones: someone openly fights with bandits, someone remains neutral, and someone cooperates with them. You can trade with them through money and barter. Complete their tasks, boost your reputation, and unlock new product ranges, discounts, and rare items.

Your choices affect your relations with the factions. This is what leads to different paths and multiple endings of the story.

Safehouses

Safehouses are your true sanctuaries. Sleep, craft items at workbenches, and store your loot here.

Improve the workbench (unlock better crafting recipes), bed (faster vigor recovery and reduced hunger/thirst drain while sleeping), and storage (more space). Upgrades apply across all safehouses.

Enemies

Bandits — from common street marauders to heavily armed factory guards and the elite retinue of the crime boss nicknamed Kotlovan, armed with rare weapons like the AS Val and VSS Vintorez.

Mythological Creatures — twisted by radiation and ancient forces:

  • Navya — mutated humans turned into aggressive, rotting monsters

  • Sterva — feral mutated animals (boars, dogs, bears) roaming the forests

  • Upyri — parasite-controlled undead haunting graveyards

  • Sea Horrors — giant mutated crabs, crayfish, and other creatures crawling from the depths

Co-op

The game supports cooperative play with friends.
