What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This game is currently unfinished [as it is about halfway done]. The balancing, a lot of the visuals, some music, as well as game mechanics are ALL subject to change in the future.

I will keep updating my community via discord on changes and fixes.
but for right now, my current plan is to finish the next few Acts and music, after that, I will go back and re-do all of the past levels and models.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I am expecting for the game to be done and out of early access in 2027~ and if not definitely 2028.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan for a lot of old levels/ACTs to be redone, music, models, and animations are planned to get and upgrade in the full version. More story elements will get added [though, that will just happen naturally as the game updates], and more importantly, new moves may be added.
but, I plan for the core [heh] gameplay to stay the same.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access currently has the first 5 ACTs/Cores. the gameplay is as described in the descripting, IE > "Kill a wave of enemies in a set location > either a button, or the wave itself will open a door to the next section > and finally the last wave will tend to be harder than the rest [or easier depending on how long the level is]. Also, there are no check-points in any level, meaning if you die, you need to completely restart the level."
The graphics are minimal and not very "hardcore" [you can run them on low end hardware].

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“the price will NOT change in the future [unless a sale happens]. I have no plans on changing the price from what it is at this moment.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will take feedback to heart and improve in any way I can, if any community members [no matter how big of a following they have] can get their stuff added if I like it enough, and have full permission to, you may also get paid for it. Although, community stuff will not be added until the FULL release of the game.”

About This Game

DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU ARE SENSTIVE TO FAST MOTION,FLASHING LIGHTS, LOUD SOUNDS, AND VIOLENCE.

CORE is a "Retro" style fps or rather fpp [first person puncher?] about a robot going into the earth and destroying it from the inside out. The gameplay is level based with many waves of enemies housed within them. Every fourth level of an Act you will fight and destroy an Earth Core.

Basic gist of the gameplay vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

Kill a wave of enemies in a set location > either a button, or the wave itself will open a door to the next section > and finally the last wave will tend to be harder than the rest [or easier depending on how long the level is]. Also, there are no check-points in any level, meaning if you die, you need to completely restart the level.

None of the levels have “map hazards”: but some will have gimmicks like lowered gravity and giant towers you need to climb.

There also aren't any difficulty setting, so the difficulty is set to how I think it should be as the developer.

The music is mainly intense and fast paced, if you are sensitive to that type of music PLEASE don't play my game or just turn it off, it is not necessary.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

the "gore' [just how the enemys look] isn't realistic at all really. and also the violence isn't bloody.
