About This Game

Seek: Light Through Darkness is a first-person psychological survival horror game set in the Age of Enlightenment.

You play as Damien, a husband and father returning to his home village of Blackmill after receiving a letter from his wife. Once you arrive, the village feels abandoned. No signs of life. No answers. Only silence…

As you explore, reality begins to shift. Can you trust your own senses? What you hear might not be real, what you see may not be there. The deeper you go, the clearer it becomes that something is very wrong.

This is a horror experience focused on atmosphere, tension, and immersion, rather than action.

SURVIVAL THROUGH LIGHT

Light, food and water are essential to your survival, but it comes at a cost.

Use your lantern and other light sources to navigate through the darkness, and to uncover your surroundings. Stay in the dark for too long and it will begin to consume you, but light makes you visible, and not everything in this world fears it.

Managing light and visibility is a core part of the experience, creating constant tension between safety and exposure.

Each encounter forces you to think, adapt, and survive.

Hide, move carefully, and choose your path wisely.

A PSYCHOLOGICAL STORY

Uncover a layered narrative told through exploration, notes, and environmental storytelling.

As Damien searches for his family, he also uncovers the truth behind the village, the plague, and the people who tried to control it. Nothing is presented directly. You will need to piece it together yourself.
