“Good Job’s core gameplay experience is already playable. However, we want to grow the game not only by adding more content, but also by understanding the moments players genuinely find fun.

We are entering Early Access to develop the game together with its community, improve its most entertaining moments through your experiences and feedback, and bring Good Job to its full release in the most consistent, balanced, and enjoyable form possible.

Observing how players approach business management, the economy, progression, and different situations will help us improve the game’s pacing, balance, and replayability. Our goal is to create a game where community feedback can genuinely influence the development process.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Good Job to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months.

This estimate may change depending on player feedback, the scope of planned content, balancing requirements, and overall development progress. We prefer to leave Early Access when the game feels complete, stable, and sufficiently deep rather than commit to an artificial deadline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand the current foundation with additional businesses and properties, new characters and story events, deeper employee and client management, broader progression and economy systems, more activities and locations, improved AI, expanded customization, achievements, quality-of-life features, additional language support, performance improvements, and further balancing.

We also plan to continue expanding the variety of situations, decisions, and unexpected events players encounter while running their business.

The exact scope and priority of these additions may evolve based on community feedback throughout Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version offers a playable core experience in which players manage their businesses, interact with clients and employees, handle appointments and income, complete objectives, expand their operation, and progress through the game world.

The main gameplay systems are functional and the game already provides a structured progression experience. However, content variety, balancing, optimization, polish, and some supporting systems are still being actively developed.

Players should expect bugs, balancing changes, adjustments to existing mechanics, and significant improvements throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

We plan to offer Good Job at a lower price during Early Access to reflect its current amount of content.

The price may increase as major features, content, and improvements are added. We currently expect the final version to be priced higher than the Early Access version.

Any planned price changes will be communicated to the community in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to collect feedback through the Steam Community Hub, discussions, reviews, and our official community channels.

We will pay particular attention to bug reports, economy and progression balancing, usability issues, feature requests, and recurring player pain points. Development updates and patch notes will be shared with the community, and player feedback will help us prioritize improvements and future content.

Not every suggestion can be implemented, but recurring and well-supported feedback will have a meaningful role in shaping Good Job’s development roadmap.”
