Why Early Access?

“This game is still in development, we have plans to add more content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect this game to remain in early access for approximately 3-6 months. This may be adjusted depending on feedback from player testing and if the amount of content we plan to add changes based on that.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add new characters, dialogue, and further polish our game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“From Early Access, players can expect a demo build featuring a chapter of our game. This includes interacting with characters and experiencing a complete storyline centered around one character. For more information on the full list of gameplay and features, you can reference the “About This” section on our Steam page.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We don't think the pricing will change after early access unless we add enough content (at least an hour playthrough) to warrant the price change. Currently the gameplay is on average only 20 mins.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community engagement is essential to our development process, we will request for feedback and assistance from players on our discord server. We will also keep tabs on Steam’s community forums and update our social media (Instagram), discord server, and Steam announcements with development logs and updates to our build.”

About This Game

Pieces is a 2D narrative-rich game that features you as the protagonist, a blank canvas searching for a sense of self. As you converse with characters, you can interact through dialogue choices, mini games and puzzles. Through character interactions, recognize your emotions and what they represent, and regain your colours as you explore them. Form relationships, notice the impact of your words and actions, and witness them shape your relationships and who you become. Enjoy stunning visuals combined with an enchanting soundtrack as you piece yourself back together.
