About This Game

Giga Lich aims trap you inside a deadly dungeon and really make you feel the weight of your limited resources as you either fight your way deeper into the heart of evil or towards an escape to safety.

With a focus on Souls-Like combat, Giga Lich puts you into an expansive, multi floor dungeon, where death means losing your gear and escape stockpiles it. Powerful bosses guard the passageways to deeper floors, which both become more difficult and have more powerful equipment as you descend.

Combat : The standard Souls-Like formula with a few small tweaks and changes. Skill based combat rewards practice and observation over arbitrary equipment values (Although, stronger equipment always helps! )

Exploration : The dungeon is hand-crafted, including every objective that might be of interest. Exploration is rewarded with various bonuses and objectives.

• Multiple floors, which get more difficult the deeper you go.

• Leveling Attributes requires reaching special places of interest, not endless monster grinding

• Powerful bonuses on each floor are scattered and guarded with challenges

• Escape and fast travel locations must be unlocked before they can be used

• Hidden rooms and passageways can yield rare equipment and shortcuts

Crafting : Some of what is found is ready-to-use equipment. However, most of what is found from enemies and chests are components used to create equipment. Which can only be done when safe outside the dungeon. Components occupy less inventory space than what they craft, so long expeditions yield big hauls.

The Vision : An extraction game with challenging PvE content without the threat of PvP. Most extraction games hold PvP as a core part of their gameplay, which can make it difficult to conquer the PvE content at your own pace. Additionally, a PvP focus typically means less PvE content and dungeon depth. Giga Lich is meant to solve these shortcomings by introducing multiple floors to the dungeon, which can all be traversed to in a single run. And using souls-like combat to make each unique enemy feel like an adequate threat.
