You awaken in a dark labyrinth.
Your only clues are the wo rds"Wooden Box" and fragments of writing scrawled in blood.
Without even knowing who you are, you make your way toward the deepest part of the labyrinth.
What awaits you there—an end, or something else?

• About This GameVida: Unslain is a dungeon RPG that combines a unique card-based battle system, where pieces move across spaces, with simple dungeon exploration based on choosing where to go next.
  The layout of the labyrinth and the "items" you find change with each playthrough.

• Play a card, and your piece movesIn battle, both you and your enemy are represented by pieces placed on a row of spaces.
  When you play a card, your piece moves according to that card's cost, changing your position and when you will be able to act next.
  Do you attack now?
  Move into position before your opponent?
  Place a card on the field and prepare for what comes next?
  The basic rules are simple, but every card you play changes the situation and creates a new decision.

• Your items change which cards appearVida does not use conventional deck-building.
  The items you carry affect which cards can appear during battle and how likely they are to appear.
  What you choose to carry changes the options available to you during that adventure.

• Choose where to go and move through the labyrinth
  There is no need to walk around a complex field map.
  Simply choose your next destination from the available options and make your way deeper into the labyrinth.
  Along the way, you may encounter battles, items, and various events.
  A single adventure takes roughly 20 minutes to 1 hour.
  Abilities do not carry over between runs. Each time, you progress using only what you obtain during that adventure.

• About the Free DLC (Additional Content)The main game is complete on its own.
  The free DLC adds extra dungeons that can be played separately from the main game.
  It is entirely optional and can be enjoyed even without prior knowledge of the main game.
