About This Game

The waves gently lap against my ears, and my consciousness sinks into a deep blue silence.

In a corner of the school, on rain-soaked paths, beneath the warm amber lights of a café, I would always catch sight of her by chance——

A mysterious, gentle girl who was always alone.

The way she whispered to seabirds, her slow fingertips as she turned the pages of a blue book, the unconscious gesture of touching her wrist……

All of it lingered in my mind as if enchanted, impossible to forget.

And yet, I knew almost nothing about her.

That strange mix of unfamiliarity and familiarity made me long to draw closer to her, to read the feelings hidden in her eyes, and to understand her secret.

Can I break through this indescribable sense of unease?

Everything lies hidden within that unfathomable sea.

The Name Tide Left is a story-driven game told from the perspective of Miryn, a high school girl. It depicts an emotional story between girls, with a gentle and lyrical tone, blended with elements of fantasy, science fiction, and mystery.

The story takes place in a seaside town in a fictional world. The protagonist, Miryn, meets a mysterious girl——someone with a presence that makes others want to approach her, yet who always keeps to herself, like a stranger who suddenly stepped into the classroom. Unable to ignore that mystery, Miryn begins to approach her and search for the secrets she carries.

Centered on narrative storytelling, this game features a progressive multi-playthrough structure, interwoven with light exploration, puzzle-solving, and minigame elements, allowing the story to gradually unfold across different playthroughs.

Players will accompany Miryn through the school and various corners of the seaside town, taking part in drawing, recording, and investigating clues. Through different choices and actions, help her slowly clear away the mist and uncover the secret buried deep within.

The protagonist of this game, an ordinary high school girl. She lives in a peaceful seaside town, works part-time at a café near the shore after school, and loves spending her free time at the school’s secret base. She is good at drawing and has a particular fondness for the grilled fish served at the old fisherman’s hut by the sea.

She has a rich inner world and many otaku hobbies. Although she is not good at actively making friends, she is used to observing the people and things around her.

A mysterious transfer student who always carries a blue-covered book, with a faint scent of the sea surrounding her.

She seems friendly and easy to get along with, yet always keeps to herself and deliberately maintains a subtle distance from others, as if hiding an unknown secret.

Miryn’s physics teacher and assistant homeroom teacher, who came to this seaside town specifically to teach.

She has a solid background in physics. Her main private hobby is photography; she often takes photos by the sea and also enjoys taking group pictures for class activities. Her teaching style is free-spirited and casual. Once she starts talking about a topic she is interested in, she throws herself into it completely and often drifts away from the original subject. Even so, her unique charm has made her well loved by her students.

• Deep multi-playthrough experience — A progressive multi-playthrough narrative design, with new story content unlocked in each playthrough, gradually piecing together the full picture of the story.

• This is a story-driven game. Completing all endings across multiple playthroughs takes approximately 3–5 hours. All content in the game is fictional and unrelated to any real events or individuals.

• Keyboard controls are recommended: use the arrow keys ↑↓←→ to move, hold Shift to walk faster; Space / Enter / Z to confirm or investigate; Esc / X to cancel or open the menu.

• During the story, progress will be saved automatically whenever the scene changes. During free-control sections, you can also open the menu with Esc / X and save manually.

• Certain scenes in the game may temporarily cause the game window to close. This is part of the story presentation and is not a crash. Before reaching the true ending, if this happens, please restart the game to continue the story.
