About This Game

A MEMORY DEEP IN AN OCEAN THAT REMEMBERS

Your journey begins beneath an endless night, in a frozen island city of canals, lighthouses, crowded streets, dark woods, and things that do not quite belong.

Andi cannot speak. His memories do not fit together. Strange people gather around him, and beyond the familiar paths, places are appearing that seem to follow rules of their own.

Dream Ocean is a psychological fantasy JRPG about friendship, identity, fractured memories, and a journey that grows stranger the deeper you go.

EXPLORE THE ENDLESS DREAM

Explore streets, homes, shops, wilderness, hidden paths, and strange places beyond the city.

Return after your journeys as conversations change, new opportunities appear, and familiar locations reveal things you could not reach or understand before.

Follow rumors. Wander somewhere you were never asked to go. Pay attention to what seems slightly wrong.

Curiosity is often more useful than a quest marker.

AWAKEN FIELD ARTS

Some powers matter beyond battle.

Field Arts let your party break through obstacles, open routes, reach hidden resources, discover activities, and approach the world in ways that were impossible before.

A place you already explored may become something different when you return with a new ability.

LINK WITH ARCHETYPES

Throughout the journey, you will confront mysterious beings known as Archetypes.

Link a hero with an Archetype to transform their class, combat role, abilities, and progression. Master different Archetypes and carry selected powers between them to shape each character in your own way.

Some Archetypes also awaken new Field Arts, changing what your party can do beyond battle.

Between journeys, enter the Mind Garden, a strange world within Andi's mind where Archetypes gather, abilities grow, and the person Andi is becoming begins to take shape.

FIGHT AT TWO SCALES

Most dangerous encounters become turn-based party battles built around roles, weaknesses, status effects, breaking enemy defenses, and combining the strengths of your heroes.

But some conflicts are bigger than a handful of enemies.

When an entire place becomes part of the confrontation, combat expands into a tactical battle where positioning, terrain, height, objectives, and the people already present can change the fight.

The same journey can become an intimate clash or an entire battlefield.

WHEN REALITY CHANGES, THE GAME CHANGES WITH IT

Dream Ocean does not always look or behave the same way.

Freely explored 3D places can give way to carefully composed scenes, impossible spaces, tiny worlds suspended above an ocean, pixel-art spaces, or unfinished drawings touched by moving color.

In the strangest places, reality itself can fracture into something with a visual language of its own.

The style changes because the world does.

FOLLOW WHAT DOESN'T FIT

Listen to rumors. Return with new powers. Explore beyond the obvious route.

Optional dungeons, hidden Archetypes, unusual encounters, character stories, secrets, and places you may never see on a first journey wait beneath the surface.

The ocean remembers more than it explains.

KEY FEATURES

  • Two ways to fight. Face enemies in turn-based party battles or command larger tactical encounters where positioning, terrain and the battlefield itself matter.

  • Build your party through Archetypes. Unlock new classes and abilities, evolve them, and carry selected skills across builds to create your own combinations.

  • Explore a world that rewards curiosity. Discover hidden paths, optional areas, secrets and encounters with minimal hand-holding.

  • Change how you interact with the world. Unlock Field Arts that affect the environment, open routes and reveal new possibilities.

  • A world that changes its visual language. Journey through free-roaming 3D environments, handcrafted perspectives, pixel-art spaces and surreal dreamscapes.

  • A story you can follow or dig deeply into. Follow the main journey or uncover deeper layers through optional dialogue, characters, memories, lore and philosophical themes.

  • Characters and places worth returning to. Revisit people and locations to discover new conversations, stories and changes in the world.

  • More than the main quest. Take on duels and challenges, fish, cook, explore optional dungeons, hunt for hidden rewards and develop your party through multiple progression systems.

  • A layered psychological fantasy journey. Strange allies, fractured memories, unsettling discoveries and a mystery that grows more surreal the deeper you descend.
