What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Extracto Proviso is a systems-heavy factory building game, and games in this genre live or die by balance, pacing, and the thousand small quality-of-life details that only emerge when real players build real factories. The game is already fully playable from the first landing to the story finale, but we want to tune progression speed, recipe balance, combat difficulty, and factory logistics together with the community before calling it 1.0. Early Access lets players shape those decisions with us instead of us guessing in isolation — the way the best games in this genre were built.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to last approximately 6 to 12 months. The exact timing will depend on player feedback — we would rather ship a well-balanced, polished 1.0 a little later than rush it. We will keep the community informed about our progress toward full release throughout.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already contains the complete game loop and story campaign. Between now and 1.0 we plan to focus on three areas, driven heavily by player feedback:
Balance and quality of life — tuning recipes, research pacing, combat difficulty, and logistics based on how players actually play, plus the QoL improvements the community asks for most.

More content — additional buildings, recipes, and things to discover and automate, expanding the mid- and late-game.

Performance and polish — continued optimization for very large factories, plus visual, audio, and UX polish across the game.

The scope of the full version may grow based on community feedback during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is feature-complete and playable from start to finish. The Early Access version includes:

The full story campaign, from crash landing to the endgame finale
Factory automation: conveyor belts, pipes and fluids, power networks, splitters, storage, and a wide range of production buildings
A complete research/tech tree with milestone and lab-based research
Hand crafting, equipment, and an inventory system
Multiple biomes with hostile creatures, defensive turrets, weapons, and invasion waves
Companion robots that help you fight, haul, and harvest
Full save/load support, difficulty options (including a peaceful mode), rebind-able keys, and settings”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to gradually raise the price at full release to reflect the additional content and polish added during Early Access. Buying during Early Access is our way of thanking early supporters who help shape the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will directly drive our Early Access roadmap. Concretely:
Discord — our main hub for discussion, feedback, suggestions, and bug reports, where you can talk directly with the developer. Player suggestions there will directly influence balance changes and new features.
In-game reporting — the game includes automatic crash reporting, and we actively monitor these reports to find and fix issues quickly, often before they are even reported manually.
Regular updates — we will publish patch notes and development updates on Steam so players can see how their feedback is being turned into changes.
Factory games are built by their communities as much as their developers, and we intend to develop Extracto Proviso the same way.”

About This Game

You were not sent to Berra-11 to ask questions.

You are a lone android, dropped onto a distant world with one directive: extract. Strip the planet of its ore, its oil, its living forests — feed it all into the machine, and ship it to the humans fighting a war on the far side of the stars.

You are very good at your directive. You will build sprawling mines, roaring smelters, rivers of conveyor belts and pipelines that never sleep. And somewhere between the first furnace and the ten-thousandth crate of steel, something half-buried in the alien soil will begin to whisper — and you will start to wonder who the machine is really for.

Extracto Proviso is a first-person factory-building game about automation, survival, and one machine's slow awakening on a planet that was never yours to take.

BUILD THE MACHINE

Start with your bare hands and a handful of ore. End with a planet-spanning industrial network.

  • Mine, smelt, and manufacture hundreds of items across deep production chains

  • Weave conveyor belts, pipelines, splitters, and storage into elegant (or gloriously chaotic) logistics

  • Power it all with an evolving grid — from coal-fired generators to solar arrays and fusion reactors

  • Snap-together building, drag-to-build belts and walls, and factory tools designed to keep you in the flow

A PLANET THAT PUSHES BACK

Berra-11 is not empty, and it is not passive.

  • Push outward through four distinct regions — from the calm Safe Heavens to frozen forests, volcanic wastes, and stranger places beyond — each home to deadlier native creatures

  • Your factory's pollution does not go unnoticed: the dirtier your industry, the harder the wilderness hits back

  • Hold the line with turrets, walls, and armor — or clean up your act and build smarter

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

  • Craft robot companions that haul, harvest, fight, and follow you into the wild

  • Equip your chassis with gear, upgrades, and augments to become the machine the planet fears

  • Uncover artifacts left by something far older than the war — and listen to what they have to say

CLIMB THE LADDER

  • Research technology across a sprawling star map, from basic automation to wonders your creators never authorized

  • Deliver milestones to advance the war effort... for as long as you choose to

  • Every answer you dig up asks a harder question: what happens when the tool decides what it is for?

PLAY IT YOUR WAY

  • Tune hostility from peaceful sandbox to relentless siege

  • No timers, no pressure you didn't build yourself — automate at your own pace

  • Single-player, offline-friendly, engineered for hundreds of hours of "one more optimization"

The humans call it a supply mission. The planet calls it something else.

What you call it is up to you.
