What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Treasure Clicker is still evolving: we’re tuning balance and iterating on systems with real players. Early Access lets us ship a fully playable build now, gather feedback, and continue improving mechanics and content on the way to a stronger 1.0.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Early Access to last about a year, depending on feedback, stability, and scope. If that outlook changes in a meaningful way, we’ll say so on the store page and in patch notes.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to ship the same core loop: tap the chest, buy upgrades, grow heroes and guilds, prestige for Essence, and unlock deeper systems over time. The full version is meant to feel more finished: clearer pacing, fewer bugs, and easier to understand, not a different genre.

We plan to focus on:

Balance: Ongoing tuning for prestige Essence, major unlock costs, alchemy / elixirs, and other systems so early, mid, and late game stay fair as we learn how people play.

Bugs and stability: Fixes for save / load, offline play, UI quirks, and anything that makes numbers or progress feel wrong after resets or updates.

Onboarding: Clearer hints, text, and tooltips so new players understand goals and systems faster.

Polish: Better feel and feedback (audio, visuals, performance on modest hardware, small quality-of-life where it helps).

Scope: We may add or extend gameplay based on Early Access feedback. What ships first will follow patch notes and updates.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Gameplay today: You tap or click the chest for gold, buy tap upgrades and watch floaters and rates climb. You can hire heroes for passive gold by class, unlock guild research and alchemy/elixirs, and prestige to earn Essence and spend it on a persistent skill tab. Speed challenges put you on a timed "side run" with first-clear rewards. The Abyss is in: a boss ladder with relics and tap combat tied to your build. Audio, UI scale, performance presets, and save backup are in the shipped build.

The game is fully playable end-to-end through these systems: balance and polish are still in progress. For a feature list aligned with the store page, see About this game and Key features on the store page.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the same base game price when we leave Early Access. If we ever change the base price, we will state it clearly on the store page before the change. Optional paid content later (for example DLC) would be separate from the base game and called out on the store page if we add it.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use community feedback to guide balance passes and bug priorities. For larger mechanics and content, we plan to share plans early (discussions, announcements, and patch notes) so players can react before we commit those pieces toward 1.0.”

About This Game

Tap the chest, buy upgrades, and grow a hoard that spirals into absurd numbers. Treasure Clicker is a cozy vault fantasy with a sharp incremental spine: every purchase pushes tap damage, passive gold, or the next big unlock.

HEROES & CLASSES
Hire heroes across classic roles. Each class feeds your passive treasure flow so the run keeps moving even when you’re planning the next splurge.

GUILDS & ALCHEMY
Fund guild research to amplify your classes, then pour Essence into alchemy when you’re ready to bend the curve with elixirs.

PRESTIGE & THE SKILL TREE
When the run feels solved, prestige trades progress for Essence and permanent power on a skill tree with real prerequisites and variety.

SPEED CHALLENGES
Step into timed side runs on a fresh temporary hoard. First clears grant lasting bonuses: replays are there when you want to chase a better time.

THE ABYSS
Descend into a boss gauntlet with relics and tap-driven combat that ties back to the crit and build choices you’ve invested in on the surface.

Early Access: Expect balance passes, UI polish, and new content as updates ship. We’ll flag anything that could affect saves in patch notes.
