About This Game

You are the last carpenter in a strange Tatar birchpunk village.

The Last Carpenter is a compact, handcrafted crafting sim focused on atmosphere, light time-management, and a satirical world where old folk craft survives inside an absurd technological future. Run a small workshop, take digital orders, craft traditional carved window frames.

Between orders, step outside the workshop, meet odd locals, discover small village stories, and take a break from work with simple side activities.

A Village Built from Real Places

Some of the buildings in The Last Carpenter are recreated from real examples of wooden architecture. One of them is the oldest wooden mosque in the Tatar village of Asan-Elga. After we had already recreated it in the game, its historic log structure was completely dismantled for restoration. More than 80% of its structural elements are expected to be replaced.

Unexpectedly, our game has also become a small digital snapshot of what this place looked like before its restoration.
