DEVIL GATE is a dark Action RPG in the Hack & Slash genre, where your hero’s fate depends not only on strength, but also on your decisions. Explore a distinctive world, develop your character your own way, and combine two classes into a unified combat system. Hunt for rare gear, prepare for dangerous encounters, and carve your path through ASARTARION alone or alongside your friends.

Features

Two classes. One synergy system. - Combine two classes in a single hero and unlock possibilities unavailable to either class on its own. Abilities interact, alter one another’s effects, and create new ways to use your skills. One combination may enhance a familiar tactic, while another can completely change how you approach combat. Experiment, discover unexpected interactions, and create builds that reflect your personal playstyle.

Old-school Hack & Slash. - Combat is not about endlessly clearing screens of enemies and chasing ever-rising damage numbers. Feel the weight of each strike, choose your moment to attack, watch your enemies, and weigh the risks. Foes pose a genuine threat, and a reckless charge can get you killed. Victory depends on character progression, preparation, and skill in combat.

Develop your hero your way. - Allocate attributes manually, choose your skills, and decide where your character’s strengths lie. Set your own priorities, account for your limitations, and find the path that best suits your build. Your hero is shaped by your decisions, not just by reaching the next level on a progress bar.

Loot worth choosing carefully. - Hunt for rare weapons, armor, and items with valuable properties. Study item stats, compare bonuses, and consider how each new find fits your build. Higher rarity does not guarantee a better item, and a well-chosen piece of gear can prove more useful than a rarer alternative. Seek equipment that genuinely makes your hero stronger.

Preparation matters. - Keep an eye on your health potion supply, manage consumables wisely, and assess your chances before venturing into danger. Not every mistake can be corrected at the last moment. Managing resources, restoring health at the right time, and knowing your limits can help you survive encounters that raw power alone cannot overcome.

Enemies that demand respect. - Fight your way through hordes of monsters, watch out for ambushes, and learn how your enemies behave. Some foes can be overwhelmed with aggression, while others force you to change tactics and find their weaknesses. Here, the environment itself becomes part of the narrative, and familiar sights may conceal events that changed entire lands. Future expansions will take you to new regions with their own architecture, cultural traditions, and legends.

Dark fantasy on the edge of body horror. - Twisted bodies, diseased mutations, repulsive monsters, and the scars of destruction define ASARTARION.
